AFCAT 2018 Apply Online – Vacancies for Flying, Ground Duty (Tech & Non-tech)

Recently Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) has released a recruitment notification for the posts of Flying, Ground Duty (Tech), Ground Duty (Non-tech). Eligible candidates can check the vacancy details and apply online from 16-12-2017 to 14-01-2018 23-01-2018.

Online applications are also invited for grant of PC/SSC for Flying Branch through NCC Special Entry Scheme and Meteorology Entry.

Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT Flying, Ground Duty (Tech & Non-tech):

Educational Qualification: 

For Flying: Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Maths and Physics with at least 60% marks in each subject and B.E./B.Tech. degree from a recognised university.

For Ground Duty (Tech): Candidates must have 4-year Degree qualification and have cleared Sections A and B Examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with minimum 60% marks.

For Ground Duty (Non-tech): Candidates must have passed B.Com. with minimum 60% marks. For education posts, candidates must have passed MBA/MCA or MA/M.Sc. Degree in English/Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Statistics/International Relations/International Studies/Defence Studies/Psychology/Computer Science/IT/Management/Mass Communication/Journalism/Public Relation with minimum of 50% marks and have scored minimum 60% marks in graduation.

Age Limit (as on 01-07-2018): 

For Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as on 01 January 2019 i.e. born between 02 January 1995 to 01 January 1999. (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years i.e. born between 02 January 1993 to 01 January 1999 (both dates inclusive).

For Ground Duty (Technical/Non-technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years as on 01 January 2019 i.e. born between 02 January 1993 to 01 January 1999 (both dates inclusive).

Application Fee: All candidates have to pay Rs. 250 through online mode using Net-banking/Credit or Debit Card and Candidates with Meteorology Entry and NCC Special Entry don’t have to pay any fee.
